Welcome to the 2025 PEO West Central Region Chapters one-day Symposium on “Engineering Today's Infrastructure for Tomorrow” organized by PEO West Central Region Chapters (membership of more than 20,000 professional engineers and over 3,000 EITs).
It is my great pleasure to invite you to the GTA Infrastructure Symposium, a premier event dedicated to addressing the critical infrastructure challenges facing Ontario today. As engineers, we play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our communities, and this symposium provides a unique platform for us to come together, share insights, and develop innovative solutions.
Our theme, "Engineering Today's Infrastructure for Tomorrow," reflects our commitment to exploring the current state and future prospects of Ontario's infrastructure. We will delve into key areas such as transportation systems, building resilience, and environmental management, including water, wastewater, and stormwater issues.
This symposium is not just an opportunity to learn from leading experts but also a chance to network with peers, exchange ideas, and collaborate on projects that will drive progress in our fields. I encourage you to join us for this important event and contribute to the discussions that will shape the future of infrastructure in Ontario.
I look forward to welcoming you and engaging in meaningful conversations that will inspire and inform the future.
