AEEGTA Chapter
The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) was founded in 1977 to promote the scientific and educational interests of its members while advancing the field of energy engineering. The Greater Toronto Area Chapter (AEEGTA), established in 1999 as the first chapter in Canada, originally operated as the Southern Ontario Chapter (AEESOC). Since its inception, AEEGTA has evolved into a dynamic organization that adapts to the needs of the energy engineering community. In 2020, we rebranded to emphasize our commitment to energy efficiency, conservation, and sustainability within the Greater Toronto Area, attracting a diverse group of professionals dedicated to these critical areas.
AEEGTA focuses on four core objectives: promoting the advancement of energy-efficient technologies and practices, providing comprehensive education and training resources to enhance the skills of energy professionals, creating networking and collaboration platforms for professionals to share ideas and work together, and advocating for policies that support sustainable energy solutions and environmental stewardship. By integrating these objectives into our mission, AEEGTA continues to lead the way toward a more sustainable and energy-efficient future for all.
