There is considerable discussion around technology, predictive tools, and AI applications in buildings. Yet the integration of technology within buildings has been an ongoing challenge for decades. Keeping buildings current has proven difficult even under the best of circumstances. When one considers original building intent in relation to present day demands, the gap is often substantial.

Changing demographics, workforce attrition, aging infrastructure, and the rapid pace of technological advancement have created a continuous learning environment. For some, this has become overwhelming, while others see it as a meaningful solution to long term challenges.

This session will explore the key considerations, requirements, and benefits involved in moving toward a more technologically advanced built environment.
