Topic: Built to Last:Reliability Engineering Drives Technology Adoption
Reliability is not just a support function for system design; it is an engineering principle that drives performance, safety, and trust. Emerging technologies such as AI-hardware, Distributed Energy Resources, and Space Systems follow predictable technology adoption curves, with reliability underpinning their long-term success. At the same time, established technologies face growing pressures to sustain performance from cost constraints and obsolescence.
Through real world examples, this talk addresses both these challenges and encourages engineers across disciplines to integrate reliability into their system to achieve performance sustainably. The resulting perspective will garner public trust, grow business, and push engineering forward.
